During the London 2012 Olympics this summer, British supplier and manufacturer, Nicholls & Clarke will be helping to keep the building trade on the move as the UK’s first building materials supplier to remain open for collections 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
As a world spectacle, the city’s resources will be heavily utilized so it is imperative for public facilities and businesses (especially hotels and restaurants) in and around the UK to be maintained in order to uphold a high level of standards whilst the UK is being showcased to the rest of the world. Universal attention will be focused on the capital city this summer as we count down the days until the 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympics Games commence. London is anticipating extra congestion, traffic and road restrictions with public transport expected to be significantly busier than usual.
As well as continuing to deliver a daily delivery service, the N&C Building Materials showroom, retail and trade counter based at Chadwell Heath (just under 8 miles from the M25 or 20 minutes from the centre of London) will remain open for collections. With over 60,000 product lines in the Group, and in excess of £10m of stocks are available to take off the shelf or can be pre-ordered and ready collect within half an hour, day or night!
Established in 1875, Nicholls & Clarke are a business that have serviced the nation through two World Wars, and intend to continue to be of service. Our 24 hour service will commence on Thursday 26th July and continue until Sunday 12th August and then recommence on Wednesday 29th August until Sunday 9th September.
