Ardmore has been appointed by GP Hotel Forum Propco Limited to lead the extensive transformation of the Forum Hotel on Cromwell Road, Kensington, a project that aims to reshape the landmark into one of London's most impressive destinations.
The redevelopment will include a full-scale refurbishment of 903 guest rooms and public spaces, along with significant structural and aesthetic upgrades across the building.
The Forum Hotel project builds upon Ardmore's legacy of refurbishing iconic properties, with past work including renowned destinations like the Raffles Old War Office (OWO), The Ned, and Ten Trinity Square. Scheduled for completion in 2027, the Kensington Forum overhaul will introduce a new rooftop extension with a panoramic bar and restaurant, offering visitors sweeping views of London. This ambitious project will also see the replacement of the building’s two-storey rooftop plant area, extensive upgrades to the facade, and the installation of new curtain walling on the ground and rooftop levels.
Structural improvements will include the installation of new lifts and advanced mechanical and electrical systems throughout the building, enhancing both functionality and sustainability. Inside, Ardmore will oversee the creation of luxurious front-of-house spaces and a range of premium amenities, including a spa, pool, gym, and multiple dining options. The project will also incorporate a publicly accessible garden square, adding a refreshing green space for guests and residents alike.
With an expected completion in 2027, the Forum Hotel transformation promises to be a remarkable addition to Ardmore's portfolio, further cementing the company’s reputation for bringing new life to iconic structures.
