Kier has been appointed as a construction partner on the North West Construction Hub (NWCH) - High Value Framework which will deliver a range of capital works projects, each in excess of £10m, across the north-west region over a four-year period.
Kier is one of five construction partners, along with Bovis Lend Lease, Laing O'Rourke Construction, Morgan Ashurst and Wates Construction, to be appointed to the Framework which is accessible to all local authorities and other public sector organisations in the region. The Framework has the ability to facilitate the delivery of large construction-related projects throughout the north-west including Cumbria, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Cheshire.
North West Improvement and Efficiency Partnership (NWIEP) has led the Framework development, providing financial support and working with Manchester City Council to establish commitment from authorities and other stakeholders across the region.
Kier North West Operations Director, Colin Quigley, said: "We are absolutely delighted to be appointed to the High Value Framework. We believe that Kier has a great deal to offer the partnership and we are looking forward to working closely with the NWCH team to deliver real value for all stakeholders."
