Caddick Construction has been appointed by Royal London Asset Management Property as principal contractor for the development of a new industrial scheme at Satellite Park in Middleton, Greater Manchester.
The contractor has secured a £25 million contract to deliver two industrial units and associated external works as part of Royal London Asset Management Property's investment in expanding industrial and logistics space in the North West.
Situated on the Greengate industrial estate, the 14-acre development will provide modern warehouse and manufacturing accommodation designed to achieve a BREEAM Outstanding rating. The scheme is intended to meet growing demand for high-quality industrial space within the established commercial location.
Construction is scheduled for completion in summer 2027. In addition to the two new buildings, Caddick will deliver extensive external works, including more than 300 car parking spaces, with a number equipped with electric vehicle charging points.
The appointment further strengthens Caddick Construction's industrial and logistics portfolio across the North West. The company is currently delivering Tawd Valley Developments' £14 million Junction 4 scheme at White Moss Business Park, where 45 business units are under construction.
Caddick is also preparing to build four industrial units totalling 96,000 sq ft at Farington Park in Leyland on behalf of Caddick Developments. The project follows completion of the first phase of the scheme, which delivered a 544,000 sq ft logistics hub designed to achieve a BREEAM Excellent rating.
