Plessey Woods Country Park's visitor centre near Bedlington has reopened following a full refurbishment.
Months of works have delivered a contemporary, welcoming space for people to relax, dine and make the most of the park's attractions.
At the core of the overhaul is a new, state-of-the-art kitchen, enabling the team to serve an expanded range of freshly prepared food and refreshments.
Inside, the seating area has been enlarged and completely refitted, creating a brighter, more comfortable setting for breakfast, lunch, coffee or a well-earned rest after exploring the trails.
Accessibility has been enhanced with refurbished toilet facilities and the addition of a new indoor accessible toilet to better meet the needs of all visitors.
Outside, a redesigned terrace and a new outdoor seating section provide more space to enjoy food and drinks, and the neighbouring playpark has also been refurbished.
The cafe is open daily from 10am to 4pm, except Mondays. The toilets (excluding the one inside the cafe) are open seven days a week.
Councillor John Riddle, cabinet member for environment and rural at Northumberland County Council, said: "Our parks and green spaces are among our most popular attractions and these improvements reflect our commitment to investing in high-quality facilities for the thousands of people who visit Plessey Woods each year.
"Whether you're visiting for a family day out, a woodland walk, cycling, to use the climbing boulders or simply to enjoy a coffee and a bite to eat, we look forward to welcoming visitors to experience everything this beautiful Country Park has to offer."
