Work Starts On New Schemes In East Herringthorpe

Ward Councillors in Dalton and Thrybergh have announced work has begun on two new projects in East Herringthorpe.

The first project is the community garden and improvements to the area outside Ridgeway Stores.

The second project involves refurbishing and upgrading the children’s play area and multi-use games area on Laudsdale Road.

One of the ward priorities for Ward Councillors in Dalton and Thrybergh is to improve facilities and opportunities for people living in the ward, which includes the improvement of physical assets and equipment. Through community consultation and available funding, we identified the locations as areas in need of improvement; recognising the importance of providing safe and enjoyable spaces for residents to enjoy.

Works will continue over the coming weeks.
