Craufurd were approached in early 2011 by the Windsor and Eton Society to help create a sculpture to commemorate the Queens jubilee. The Windsor and Eton society wanted to mark this occasion with a permanent memorial because of the Queens special Attachment to the town, so they created a competition for schools and youth groups to create a concept.

Carolin Basra aged 14 from Windsor girls school was judged to have made the most interesting suggestion, her idea was for a tribute consisting of 60 circles, to represent each year of the queens reign, to be placed between Waitrose and Daniels department store in the king Edward's court shopping centre, Windsor.
