Two managers working for Lovell in the Midlands – John Jenkins and Steven Brown - have been named among the UK's top construction managers.
Steven and John have both won Pride in the Job Quality awards, presented by the National House-Building Council (NHBC).
This is the third time in five years that project manager John has received the accolade. He has been rewarded for his outstanding management of a major housing regeneration scheme Lovell is carrying out in Camp Hill.
The award recognises the high levels of quality and workmanship at the development, where the company is currently working on the £30 million second phase of the scheme, building 227 homes for affordable rent, shared ownership and sale for the Pride in Camp Hill Partnership. John previously won Pride in the Job Quality Awards for his work at Camp Hill in 2005 and 2008.
Senior site manager Steven Brown has won the award for the second successive year. The achievement recognises his success in managing the new housing development which Lovell is building at Phoenix Court, Dunster Place, Coventry.
The award underlines the consistently high quality standards at the development, where the company is working on a £6.5 million scheme to build 55 new homes for sale and affordable rent, in partnership with Jephson Homes Housing Association.
Last year, Steven was also rewarded with an NHBC Pride in the Job Award for his management of a project to build 10 new bungalows at Leeder Close in Holbrooks, Coventry, which Lovell carried out for Whitefriars Housing Group.
