Morgan Sindall Construction has been reappointed to both value bands of the new £1.5bn YORbuild Major Works 2 framework, which will deliver major public-sector building projects across Yorkshire and the Humber and adjacent areas.
The renewed places extend the company's long-standing partnership with YORhub and enable eligible public bodies and third-sector organisations in Yorkshire and the Humber, the North East of England, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and parts of Leicestershire to procure new build, refurbishment, design and decarbonisation schemes.
Morgan Sindall has secured positions on Lot 1 (projects valued between £10m and £30m) and Lot 2 (schemes exceeding £30m), continuing its role from the outgoing YORbuild3 Major Works framework.
YORbuild Major Works 2 is procured and managed by the public sector for the public sector, led by East Riding of Yorkshire Council and Leeds City Council on behalf of YORhub, the collaborative construction procurement hub for the Yorkshire and Humber region. The framework is now live and will run for four years, with the option to extend by a further two.
