Lovell To Start Work On Refurbishment Programme

Lovell is set to start work on a £1.8 million programme of extensive refurbishment for 83 homes in Bath and North East Somerset for Somer Community Housing Trust.

Lovell will be carrying out work to precast reinforced concrete (PRC) homes in Keynsham and Bath for the Housing Trust. The improvements will include the installation of new insulation blockwork, insulating cladding and rendering of the properties. Lovell will also install new windows, doors, fascias and gutters. Work is set to start in Keynsham this month.

The refurbishment forms part of a £40 million programme which Lovell is working on with Somer Community Housing Trust to redevelop its PRC homes. The programme includes the building of more than 240 new homes for local residents and a further 70 homes for sale.
