B&Q Exchange Contracts With Henry Boot Developments

B&Q has exchanged contracts with Henry Boot Developments Limited to take 51,000 sq ft at Northfields Retail & Business Park, Parkgate, Rotherham.

Construction work is due to start in the Autumn and the B&Q unit is expected be open for trade in Summer 2009.

Adjacent to the established Retail World Shopping Centre, Northfields has an outline planning consent for 100,000 sq ft of retail accommodation and a range of industrial units.

Representing Henry Boot Developments, Vivienne Clements, Director, commented: "We are delighted that B&Q will be trading from Northfields. This first class anchor tenant is sure to kick start the development."
