ACE chief executive Nelson Ogunshakin said: "We are delighted to have Mott MacDonald as a member of ACE. Their joining ACE is a massive boost to our growing representation of our sector. We are proud to be representing such a global leader in the marketplace and I look forward to them playing an active role in ACE in the months and years ahead."

Commenting on the membership of ACE, Mott MacDonald managing director, Keith Howells said: "In our view, ACE has become a much more effective organisation in the last few years. We feel that the time is right to put our weight behind them in support of their efforts with government and other major clients to effect change in the consulting industry. In particular we welcome their initiatives on seeking fairer terms and conditions of engagement for consultants, which currently often put disproportionate levels of risk onto consulting firms.

"We look forward to working with ACE over the coming years to represent the interests of the consulting business."
