Campion Homes Bolsters Leadership Team

Campion Homes has strengthened its senior leadership team with the appointment of Billy Bald as Commercial Director, alongside a series of internal promotions, as the company prepares for the next phase of its growth across east central Scotland.

Billy Bald joined the business in February, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the housebuilding sector, including senior roles with major UK developers where he most recently served as Commercial Manager. His appointment comes ahead of the planned retirements later this year of long-serving Commercial Director Alan Chalmers and Surveying Director Ali Graham.

In his new role, Bald will lead the company's commercial operations, focusing on strategy, supply-chain performance, cost management and collaboration across departments including land, technical and sales. He will also work closely with customers and partners to drive value across projects.

On his appointment, Billy Bald said: "It's an exciting time to be joining Campion Homes and contributing to the next stage of its journey. Having worked with both national and regional housebuilders, I’ve seen first-hand the difference that strong commercial rigour, collaboration and long-term relationships can make and Campion is recognised for all of these strengths.

"While the market remains positive, there are still challenges to navigate, and I’m looking forward to working closely with our customers, supply chain partners and colleagues across the business to deliver high-quality homes and continued value. Campion has built an excellent reputation over many years, and I'm proud to play a part in supporting its next chapter of growth."

Alongside the new appointment, Campion Homes has promoted three senior team members to director-level roles.

Mike Hay has been named Development Director, recognising his long-standing contribution since joining the company in 2000 and his role in shaping its development pipeline.

Judy Anderson has been promoted to Finance Director, reflecting her leadership of the finance team since 2017 and her role in maintaining the company's financial strength.

Kris Aitchison, who joined Campion Homes in 2023, has been appointed Construction Director, highlighting his leadership across safety, quality and delivery within the construction team.
