Bellway is finalising its Indigo Park development in Chichester as the three-year construction project approaches completion.

Located on the former Portfield Quarry and UMA House site off Shopwhyke Road, the development has transformed the area into a vibrant new community of houses and apartments.

Of the 88 homes in the scheme, 66 have already been occupied, with construction on the remaining properties set to finish by March next year. The development includes 77 homes for private sale and 11 affordable homes available for rent and shared ownership. Housing options range from one- and two-bedroom apartments to three- and four-bedroom houses, catering to a variety of needs.


In addition to the homes, Indigo Park features public open spaces, including a children’s play area, enhancing the neighborhood’s appeal.

As part of its planning agreement, Bellway has made significant contributions to the local area, including £230,120 for improvements to the A27 and £51,000 towards the Chichester Harbour Special Protection Area.

The completion of Indigo Park marks a major milestone in providing new, high-quality housing and amenities for Chichester’s growing community.
