GRAHAM FM has completed upgrade work to the Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) at Durham Constabulary's headquarters in Aykley Heads.
The UPS System provides a reliable power supply that prevents power outages and disturbances, which could, potentially, result in the loss of important services across the Constabulary.
The £109,000 project, involving the replacement of primary UPS components, was completed over a six-day programme in partnership with local supply chain partners Kohler Power and Levant Power Protection Services.
Since 2018, GRAHAM has provided hard facilities management services to Durham Constabulary. It works in tandem with the police force’s estates team to guarantee building and asset availability 24/7/365 while planning diverse work requirements to minimise disruption to critical policing operations.
The Constabulary, which has 1,151 officers who are supported by more than 1,003 members of police staff, 70 special constables and 145 police community support officers, serves the people of County Durham and Darlington in the north east of England.
