Pick Everard has been appointed to Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation's (ESPO) Consultancy Services framework (664).
ESPO has a longstanding history of providing goods and services to the public sector and is one of the country's largest professional buying organisations (PBO). The Consultancy Services framework is designed to create a simple and efficient solution for those looking to procure trustworthy advice from pre-approved suppliers.
With a wide range of areas covered, the framework allows for a variety of needs; from valuations, commercial estates strategy advice, auditing, environmental and sustainability services, and planning advice. The flexibility of this framework allows it to be convenient, with the possibility of selecting more than one consultancy service from numerous service providers but all accessed in one place providing a swift and cost-effective procurement solution.
David Harris, partner at Pick Everard, said: "This is a really key appointment for us, and the partnership with other organisations for this particular framework will ultimately drive the success of the work procured through it.
"This broad-reaching national framework provides opportunity both via an inbound mini-competition route and through direct awards. Pick Everard has a wealth of expertise within national framework management through an internal and external network, making this an ideal fit. Our multi-disciplinary nature as a firm allows us to provide added value, being able to draw on our in-house expertise to drive efficiencies on all the projects we deliver. And ultimately, this allows us to save costs, while maintaining our high standard of delivery."
The framework will run for the next four years, with Pick Everard’s appointment covering 10 lots including:
• Lot 1 Business Services

Pick Everard tendered for this framework incorporating the technical expertise of several preferred delivery partners, providing them access to a national framework under the Pick Everard brand. The partners included in the group are APB, Delta Simons and Lichfields, which have all been selected due to their cultural fit with our own organisation and their proven ability to support Pick Everard’s own in-house, multi-disciplinary service offering. The combined expertise will provide clients procuring work through the framework with access to a diverse, expert team of specialists capable of delivering any services required on secured schemes.
Iain McFaul, customer relationship manager at ESPO, said: "We have created a complete framework solution that covers a wide range of consultancy services. One of our key additions is that we have embedded social value as a core element enabling our customers to meet their commitments in this area."
