Leading UK utility consultancy UCML has strengthened its senior management team with a new appointment.
Nick Cooke has been named as the firm's new joint Managing Director, in which he will work alongside company founder and fellow MD Arwel Lloyd.
Arwel established the business 15 years ago to provide developers and construction specialists with utility connections consultancy and project management.
The company has its head office in Wrexham, North Wales, but operates across the whole of the UK.
Nick was previously Head of Acquisitions at Domino's Pizza with responsibility for all new store openings in the UK and Republic of Ireland.
Nick's wife, Kathryn Cooke, is the company's Commercial Director and daughter of Arwel.
Commenting on his appointment, Nick said: "I am delighted to join UCML at what is an exciting time for the business.
"The company is firmly established as one of the leading companies for working with clients to negotiate and manage their utilities connections, often saving them hundreds of thousands of pounds in the process.
"We are extremely strong across the North West and Midlands, but our plan is now to build greater awareness in the rest of the UK."
Jonathan Davies, who joined UCML in 2012 as Technical Manager, has also been promoted to Technical Director.
