North West Construction Hub has announced a host of successful contractors under its new High Value Framework.
The framework, which aims to improve efficiencies, will see contractors deliver construction projects in markets including education, health, retail and leisure.
It is available to public sector bodies in the North West of England covering Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire, Cheshire and Cumbria.
The lots range in value from £8m-15m (Lot 1), £15m-£35m (Lot 2) and £35m+ (Lot 3).
Contractors named in Lot 3 include companies like BAM, VINCI, Wates and Balfour Beatty.
Framework lead Joanna Chomeniuk said: "Congratulations to all the contractors who have been successful in getting onto the 3rd generation of the High Value Framework. Feedback from the assessors was that the calibre of tender responses was excellent, and it is very exciting to see some new names join our existing partners. We are very much looking forward to working with everyone to make this new framework even more of a success than previously. There are already some interesting projects lined up with clients who have been eagerly awaiting this announcement."
Responding to the announcement, Thomas Edgcumbe, Managing Director of Balfour Beatty's Regional North and Midlands business, commented: "Our deep regional knowledge combined with our sustainable, innovative delivery approach will support us in strengthening communities and building for the future.
"Having recently been appointed to a number of key civil engineering frameworks in the region along with the NWCH High Value framework, we are expertly positioned to support the delivery of the North West of England's current and future building and infrastructure requirements."
