Amey has appointed Ray Jones as its new Business Director in the Highways Executive team.

Having spent the last 15 years working with Carillion working across several sectors, Mr Jones will focus on growing Amey's presence in the local authority market.

During his time at Carillion, Mr Jones has been responsible for a range of utility and highways contracts with clients such as Siemens.


Amey's Highways Managing Director, James Haluch, said: "This is an exciting time for Amey's highways business. Following a challenging year in 2016, we are now much more focused on growing our business and delivering what we do well. Ray has great experience both winning new work and delivering a highly customer-focused service for clients. I am pleased to be welcoming him into my Executive Team, where he will join us in driving Amey's growth in the highways market."

Mr Jones added: "I am delighted to be joining James' team at this crucial period for Highways.
