BAM FM has been selected to carry out maintenance work for Cranfield University in Bedfordshire.

The five-year deal will see HVAC maintenance carried out across a mix of 260 old and new buildings on the University's site.

Features include maintenance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning units, refrigeration and building management controls.

The BAM FM team includes specialist technicians, managers and a CAFM coordinator. The site team will also take on an apprentice.

BAM Energy will also support plans to achieve a target of 5% year-on-year reduction in energy consumption. Electric vehicles will be used by the site-based maintenance team and an energy manager will work to implement energy-reduction measures that contribute towards the estate's efficiency targets.
