Plans have been approved for a new housing development in Barnet.
Willmott Dixon will deliver 188 new homes as part of the Millbrook Park development in Mill Hill.
Designed by architects Broadway Malyan, the overall scheme will see a new community built featuring over 2,000 new homes in a landscaped parkland setting, together with shops, offices and a new primary school.
Other features include a large terraced parkland garden, underground parking and a low carbon district heating system.
The next phase at Millbrook Hill will be built by Willmott Dixon's Prime Place business and will see 159 homes created for private sale as well as 29 'affordable' homes on a 2.7 acre site.
Brian Brady, Managing Director of Prime Place, said: "Millbrook Park is an ideal fit for Prime Place's strategy of providing outstanding homes in popular locations and close to excellent transport links. We are delighted to achieve approval from Barnet Council and anticipate starting work on site very soon."
