Kier has been appointed to a new £750 million highways framework in the East of England.
The company will deliver projects between £1m and £20m on the major works Lot of the Eastern Highways Framework 2, which will have a total spend of around £600m.
Other winners include: Danaher & Walsh, Fox Building & Engineering, Henderson & Taylor FM, John Henry & Sons Civil Engineers, Murrill Construction, Toppesfield, W&H Roads, Carillion, Eurovia Infrastructure, Interserve Construction, Jackson Civil Engineering Group and Morgan Sindall.
The four-year framework programme was developed by the Eastern Highways Alliance, a collaboration between 11 local authorities.
Kier will focus on delivering larger capital-funded schemes and improvements such as link roads, bypasses, public transport investment and new structures, and may also include larger-scale maintenance works.
