Wates Living Space has built a £4.3 million residential development in Hull.
Working alongside the city council and social housing provider, Riverside, Wates has developed properties in Homethorpe, Orchard Park.
Housing includes 16 one-bedroom flats and 36 two and three bedroom houses.
A total of £1.2 million was invested in Hull subcontractors and suppliers in the process.
Wates appointed Humber Wood Recycling to work on the development, which enabled the contractor to recycle 100% (10.7 tonnes) of its waste timber.
As a result, the project successfully scored 42 points under the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS), a 6.5-point increase on the industry average.
Carl Mitchell, Assistant Director, Operations at Riverside, said: "Riverside is committed to redevelopment and regeneration in the Hull area and is delighted to have worked with Wates on this new development on Homethorpe."
