Fitzgerald Contractors has reported a record turnover of £34 million for the year to 31 March 2015.

The figures represent an improved performance over the previous two years, following a management buyout in May 2013.

Managing Director Nick Coley said: "The freedom and flexibility of the new ownership structure has allowed us to be reactive to the market and to ensure that we are able to meet our Client’s needs.

"By operating across multiple sectors, including Retail, Housing, The Highways Agency and Local Authorities including working as a subcontractor for large main contractors, we have developed a balanced business model that has enabled us to maximise opportunities to increase turnover and grow the business."
