Efficiency North (EN) has awarded contracts to 57 contractors over 50 lots for its new Procure Installers framework.
The scheme has an estimated demand pipeline of £360 million over its four year lifetime.
The plan will run alongside the EN Procure Elemental Works framework which expires in November 2015.
Approximately 46% of contractors on the new scheme were appointed to the previous framework.
In total 60% of the company's are SME's, 35% of which are local.
The framework offers a wide range of works and services including kitchen and bathroom installation, heating and ventilation.
Other works include:
• Electrical installation.
• Brickwork and masonry.
• Renewable heating and ventilation.
• Roofing.
• General building works.
• Painting.
• Estates improvements.
• External works.
• Adaptations.
• Solar photovoltaic installations.
• Fire precaution works.
• Whole house improvement works.
A training contract is also written into the scheme with one full time training opportunity to be provided by the contractor for every £500,000 works value.
