A key milestone has been reached in the development of an office building near Reading.
Wates Construction has installed a roof slab at the £27 million Grade A office development at Winnersh Triangle business park.
It is understood the 5,000 m3 reinforced concrete frame has also been completed.
The development is being delivered by business park owner PATRIZIA in partnership with Wates.
The 37.6 metre tower crane will be removed as work continues on the next phase of Building 1030.
Glazing will now be installed at the four storey 60,483 sq ft development to make the building watertight.
Will Lawrie, PATRIZIA Asset Manager, said: "Building 1030 has reached the exciting stage when it takes solid shape.
"The quality of Winnersh Triangle is going to be boosted further by this grade A addition to the facilities we have on offer."
Ian Vickers, Managing Director, Wates Construction Home Counties, added: "Building work is progressing at pace at Building 1030, in part thanks to the strength of Wates’ partnership with PATRIZIA."
