Seddon has secured its first contract on the re-procured medium value North West Construction Hub (NWCH) framework.
The company will deliver a £5 million school extension for Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council in Heaton Chapel.
As part of the contract, Seddon will deliver a new junior block at St Thomas' CE Primary and develop a seeded sports pitch and running track as part of the contract.
The new building will provide spaces for 360 pupils once completed for the start of the 2016-2017 academic year.
NWCH expects to award between £250 million and £1 billion through the framework over the next three years, with an option to extend for a further year.
Andre Witter, Construction Manager at Seddon, said: "We are delighted to have been awarded our first contract released through the new framework.
"Seddon has a reputation for delivering high-quality school projects across the UK and I look forward to adding St Thomas’ to that ever growing list.
"We hope that this is the first of many contracts we secure through the framework."
