Keepmoat has announced it has secured regeneration projects worth over £5.8 million in the North East of England.
One of the deals includes a £4.8 million development contract with South Tyneside Homes.
Keepmoat was selected through a procurement process via the HCA DPP 2.
Plans involve a multitude of refurbishment projects for tenants, including modernisations, external wall insulations, re-roofing works and necessary structural works for the 139 properties.
Work is scheduled to begin next month with an estimated completion date in June 2016.
The company also secured a contract with Cestria Community Housing Association worth £1 million.
The contract involves delivering re-roofing works to some 174 properties in the Chester-le-Street area.
Work is due to begin in July, with a finishing date set for November.
David Ward, Regional Managing Director for Keepmoat Northern Region said: "These substantial contract wins for Keepmoat in the North East continue to show the extent to which we are delivering new projects in the region.
"With ongoing investment by local authorities and housing associations in the region, Keepmoat will continue to deliver high quality regeneration projects for its partners."
