A new development for older people has opened in Halifax.
The Homes and Communities Agency (HCA)-funded Ing Royde development consists of 30 apartments, including some for couples, offering residents the freedom to live in their own self-contained home but with the reassurance of 24-hour on-site support, including communal meals if desired.
Abbeyfield Halifax has strong local connections having been in the area for nearly 15 years. The redevelopment was completed last year, supported by a £1.7m investment from the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA).
