ISG has scooped a multi-million project at Cannon Place in London.

The contractor has recently completed a circa 175,000 sq ft Cat A fit out across four levels of the eight-storey building, located directly above Cannon Street station, for developer Hines. ISG has now added a further 140,000 sq ft fast-track Cat B fit out over the first three floors of the building for CMS, the sixth largest law firm in the world.


The large column-free floor plate at Cannon Place has enabled CMS to develop a new design ethos for its main London headquarters. Majority open plan, studio-styled work areas replace a traditional cellular office environment, with the space designed to promote collaboration, innovation and staff cohesion.

ISG will install two new feature staircases to provide a seamless link between these two floor levels, which also include a range of offices and meeting rooms around the central core and a knowledge hub at third floor level.

ISG will also create a reception area on the first floor, with a café, staff restaurant, client-facing meeting rooms and dining space.
