Londonewcastle and Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) have been awarded resolution to grant planning permission by LB Hammersmith & Fulham for a high-quality, riverside residential-led mixed use development in Fulham.
The prime riverside site is situated between Hurlingham Park and the Harbour Club and the proposed 500,000 sq.ft development will comprise 242 residential units set around a central landscaped garden. The development will also deliver improved public access to the river, 35,000 sq.ft of retail and leisure space along Wandsworth Bridge Road and an improved riverside walk.
David Barnett, CEO of Londonewcastle commented: "This is a significant scheme and gives us the opportunity to create a new destination riverside address which will feature a spectacular elevated resident’s garden at its centre and improved public spaces and retail amenities along the revitalised riverside walk."
The scheme is designed by award-winning architects Hopkins, who have a consistent track record for creating significant British buildings, including recently, the Olympic Velodrome.
CBRE are acting as development agents and project managers.
