SupportBuilding supplies expert, Gibbs & Dandy has introduced a free to call customer service number, bringing together its growing branch network.
Gibbs & Dandy is now providing its customers with an 0800 number, which will give them easy access to their designated branch when they’re out and about, improving its customer service.
Customers who call 0800 008 7658, will be directed to the nearest branch or store with the relevant specialism, such as its timber specialist branch in Nottingham, a convenient service for when customers are unable to locate or reach their branch number.
In addition to the new free phone number, all branch contact numbers will remain ensuring customers can still liaise with familiar branch staff and local experts.
Commenting on the improvements, Gibbs & Dandy Group Marketing Director, Tania Tams said: "The introduction of a free customer service number is the latest in a string of improvements that Gibbs & Dandy is delivering to its customers. This, most recent improvement, has been introduced in response to feedback from trade professionals and DIY-ers and we are hopeful that this will improve our service levels still further, by increasing access to relevant branches and services, and making our entire network open to all customers.
"The autonomy of our individual branches remains, as will the contact numbers, but as the business grows it’s important that we recognise where it is helpful to our customers to offer additional services."
