Stuart Ropke to take post of assistant director of research and futures on interim basis in March.
The National Housing Federation has appointed Stuart Ropke as interim assistant director of research and futures. Stuart is currently the Federation’s head of investment policy and strategy and will take up his new post in March.
David Orr, chief executive of the National Housing Federation, said: "We are delighted with Stuart’s appointment. As a key member of our research and futures team, Stuart has the skills and experience to meet the challenges demanded by this critical role.
"It's no secret that we’re facing a housing crisis. The Federation needs to identify and prepare for the long-term issues affecting its members and the social housing sector.
"I have no doubt Stuart will provide the strategic leadership and focus required to help us find the solutions."
The Federation's current assistant director of research and futures, Gavin Smart, has been appointed director of policy and practice at the Chartered Institute of Housing. Gavin will assume his new role on 2 April 2012.
