Neweys Needs You!

All over the UK Newey & Eyre customer have been invited to take part in a survey researching what businesses need to do to capitalise on the opportunities that the booming interest in Solar Photovoltaic renewable energy industry presents.

With many construction projects on hold due to stunted economic growth, rising unemployment and inflation, the government clearly sees the renewable energy as an area of potential boom hence slashing the feed in tariff rate earlier this month.

Like any emerging market the key to driving success and is getting the foundations in order. Product design, supply chain and skilled installers with industry accreditation bodies are all fundamental to ensure building consumer trust resulting in scalable business models beyond the early adopters.

Electrical wholesalers like Newey & Eyre are well placed, with over 80 years of experience, to not only supply materials such as Solar PV kits into the UK but to advise current business on key information required if business want to expand their service offerings in this area.

In addition to an outstanding knowledge area and skills courses, Neweys Online, the online electrical wholesale solution from Newey & Eyre, has undertaken some market research into online procurement, skills audit and growth projections which will be released in early 2012.

Anyone can take part either by completing the online solar survey or asking in the nearest Newey and Eyre branch.

"The branch and online solar survey is a quick, very user friendly questionnaire which aims to generate a better understanding of what requirements really face smaller business to capitalise on the growing trends in domestic renewable energy installations," Emma Gilbert from the Web team commented.

"There has been lots of focus on what opportunities the Solar PV market will bring for the UK economy as a whole but little research has been completed on how the smaller business are preparing for this growing segment of their market. It is also important that more information is given to the customer so they are fully informed when picking a Solar PV installer."
