Alan Camp Submits Plans For London Developments

Alan Camp Architects has submitted two planning applications for developments in the south London boroughs of Wandsworth and Southwark.

The £17 million Wandsworth development comprises 99 flats, five houses, 12 additional flats in a converted former factory building and 1,500sq m of retail and office space on the site of the former Price’s Patent Candle Factory in Battersea.

Outerspace Landscape Architecture has designed the landscaping.

Plans for Southwark, on the site of the former Quebec Way Industrial Estate, include 366 flats around landscaped courtyards, a mini-market, nursery, gym, coffee shop, community hall and 1,600sq m of commercial space.

The proposals include gas district heating and solar photovoltaics to help achieve Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4.

If planning permission is granted, building work is scheduled to begin in early 2013.
