CALA Homes Returns To Eckington

Housebuilder CALA Homes (Midlands) has started the initial groundworks for a new residential development in a Worcestershire village.

Birmingham-based CALA Homes (Midlands) is building 26 three-, four- and five-bedroom houses on a development site off Tewkesbury Road in the village of Eckington, between Evesham and Tewkesbury.

The architect-designed homes are designed to meet the needs of modern living and will be built to exceptionally high standards, reflecting the quality for which CALA Homes has already become renowned across the Midlands and in Eckington itself where it completed The Pippins, a development of five detached houses, 12 years ago.

"We know Eckington well from our previous development in the village and we are delighted that we are to return," said Ruth Williams, Area Sales and Marketing Director of CALA Homes (Midlands).

"There will be a different styles and layouts of homes available at our new development, which we know will appeal to people already living in Eckington, and those looking to relocate there. It is a prime location, one of the most sought after villages in the area, with excellent local schools, good commuting links and an enviable rural lifestyle."

The first new homes are expected to be ready for occupation by early 2011.
