HCA Awarded 'The Public' Diffuser Contract

Construction News Image
High Care Air (HCA) have been awarded the order to supply seven diffusers across two floors to The Public - arts and entertainment centre - in West Bromwich.

The diffusers are all half round and suspended from lay in Grid ceilings on one floor and independently on the other. Supplying tempered fresh air into each exhibition and communal space HCA had to accomodate the ducts needing traditional zipped bends and upward angles formed by using the Lay in Grid as a rising bulkhead.

The Public will benefit from Flame Retardant material with anti bacterial coating using our Non Shedding material, guaranteed not to add any small fibres into the environment. We have also designed the system to utilise our unique Micro perforation system which allows the air to exit the material evenly and at low velocity through 0.4mm laser cut diffusers. These have the added benefit of ensuring the supply air isn't 'pushed' through the weave of the material in the normal way - thus ensuring that the material never gets blocked so long as the EU4 filtration is maintained.

This is a huge factor in reducing demanding maintenance requirements and also ensuring that the systems run more efficiently as the static pressure in the system reamins constant rather than rising to accomodate increasingly blocked material.
