Wates Group Appoints New Board Appointment

Wates Group has announced the appointment of Dave Smith to the Group Board.

Dave's Group Board appointment is in addition to his role as Group Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director of Construction.

Dave started at Wates as a Quantity Surveyor 24 years ago. He has held a variety of business leadership roles in London and nationally.

Wates Chairman and Chief Executive, Paul Drechsler, said: "Dave is passionate about Wates and delivering for our customers and has seen the business grow and change extensively over the past 24 years.
