Residents living around the Billingborough area of Lincolnshire are being invited by E.ON to attend a public exhibition to share their views on the company's plans for a wind farm in the area.

E.ON is currently investigating the possibility of constructing up to 17 turbines with the potential to generate a maximum of 51MW of energy, enough to provide 36,000 homes with electricity.

Ahmed Mulla, Project Developer for E.ON said: "The public exhibition is an ideal time for local people to ask us any questions and have their say about the wind farm development.

"We believe that this is a great location for a wind farm and are looking forward to talking through our plans with the local community."

It takes place on the 23 and 24rd September with E.ON staff on hand to talk visitors through the exhibition material and to answer any questions that they might have about the proposal.

Local people will be able to see artist impressions of how the wind farm may look from various locations around the site and also use the latest technology to see how the wind farm could look from their own homes.
