Morgan Est, one of the UK's leading providers of infrastructure services, has been named as preferred partner to carry out a 10-year framework with Central Networks which could be worth an estimated £500 million.

The programme of works will include capital asset replacement and reinforcement to overhead lines and underground cables up to 33kV. Morgan Est will also carry out distribution plant replacement work up to 11kV, remedial work programmes, which includes broken insulators and plant, building and civil works.

Work will begin in April next year with Morgan Est working across Central Networks' eastern region.
