Seven homes in north Bransholme, Hull, which lay empty for many years have been officially opened following their recent refurbishment to a top quality standard.

The homes in Welshpool Close were transformed by a partnership made up of the United Residents of Bransholme area North (URBaN), housing association the Riverside Group, regeneration agency Gateway, building maintenance firm KWL and Hull City Council's housing team.

The first residents to benefit from the refurbishment moved in in May and now all seven properties are occupied, with gardens and fencing complete.

The official opening will be attended by representatives from all the partners involved.
