Lovell is set to start work on a £2.6 million affordable homes scheme at Taffs Well, just outside Cardiff.
The development will create nineteen new two and three-bedroom houses for sale, including six properties which will be offered for sale through Rhondda Cynon Taf Council's low-cost home ownership scheme, 'Homestep'.
The first residents will move into the new homes in Spring 2010.
The scheme is being built following the success of the first phase of the development – known as Maes Ifor – where Lovell, in partnership with Rhondda Cynon Taf Council, has created 48 homes for open market sale, including 15 for low-cost home ownership.
