Six schemes set to be built by Lovell have been shortlisted for the Homes and Communities Agency's Kickstart funding.

The developments in line for a £14 million funding boost are set to create more than 370 new affordable rented, shared ownership, HomeBuy and open market homes in the North West and Warwickshire.

The shortlisted projects are: a 74-home development at Gilead Street, Kensington, Liverpool, with Riverside Community Seven; a 67-home scheme in Netherley, Liverpool, with Riverside Lee Valley; a 56-home scheme in Tranmere with Wirral Borough Council; a 50-home scheme in partnership with Riverside Pennine at the Langley estate, Middleton, Manchester; a 79-home scheme in Miles Platting, East Manchester in partnership with New East Manchester; and a 50-home scheme at Camp Hill, Nuneaton, Warwickshire with the Pride in Camp Hill partnership.

Lovell Head of Business Development Peter Quinn said: "The company's focus on the affordable sector has enabled Lovell to keep on building in the current market. They will enable us to continue working with our housing association and local authority partners and respond to the strong demand for new high-quality affordable housing."

Schemes shortlisted for funding through the Kickstart programme will now undergo a due diligence assessment before getting the final go-ahead.
