Faithful+Gould Appointed To Buying Solutions Framework

A mixture of expertise and proven experience in the public sector has secured Faithful+Gould's appointment to the Buying Solutions framework.

As part of a deal worth an estimated £750m to the 12 selected suppliers, Faithful+Gould will lead a multi-disciplined team. This will include design and engineering experts from parent company Atkins, to supply project management and full design services.

The primary role of buying solutions is to maximise value for money. It will bring together project management, design and a number of ancillary technical services to assist clients in delivering a wide range of construction projects.

Faithful+Gould and Atkins already support both central and local government utilising a full spectrum of procurement routes. Under the framework, the team will progress clients through the RIBA Work Stages and OGC gateway review process when delivering new build schemes, regeneration and major programmes of work.

Stephen Hateley, Director at Faithful+Gould, said: "This appointment is a great testament to our large talent pool of highly skilled and passionate professionals. We understand that strong project management is not a ‘bolt on' service but a stand alone discipline that will invariably be the difference between success and failure. Blending the project and cost management skills of Faithful+Gould with the design expertise of the wider Atkins group will result in a fully integrated offering. Our understanding of the public arena complements our private sector knowledge, enabling us to provide a service with an extra dimension to the norm."
