Kier Construction, as part of the KMI Plus joint venture, which also includes Murphy Group, Interserve Project Services and Mouchel, has announced the award of a £250m contract extension for its Non Infrastructure Capital Delivery framework with United Utilities.
The original AMP4 framework agreement, awarded in 2005, came with the potential to be extended for AMP5 subject to performance.
This extends KMI's association with United Utilities throughout AMP5 to March 2015. The relationship was originally established in 2002 during AMP3 and was retained after tender in AMP4 (2005 - 2010) where it has delivered £230m and £400m of new build, maintenance and refurbishment work respectively.
