ACTIS Signals UK Expansion Plans With The Appointment Of New Technical Manager

ACTIS Insulation has announced the appointment of David Curtis as Technical Manager for the UK.

David is the latest addition to the commercial team which has increased considerably over the past 12 months.

David will be supporting customers on all technical aspects of ACTIS' product range, including the company's Multifoil product and its new sustainable wood wool fibre insulation, SYLVACTIS - launched at Ecobuild and Futurebuild earlier this year.

He's also responsible for ensuring that ACTIS' entire product range meets existing and future UK and European legislation. While in the short term David will look to maintain and increase market share, his long term strategy is to ensure that ACTIS is best positioned to meet emerging industry targets such as the Zero Carbon Homes initiative.

Matthew King, Manager at ACTIS UK & Ireland said: "David's appointment is testament to the ambitious plans that we have for the company. In the current economic climate, it would be very easy to take a defensive approach but that's not what this business is about. We have clear targets for the UK market and to achieve them we need to ensure that we have the best people in the industry. David brings a wealth of experience and expertise that will prove invaluable to the business."

Prior to joining ACTIS, David held technical roles with a number of major developers including Crest Nicholson, Westbury Homes and Linden Homes where he was Technical Director for more than four years.
