Lovell has helped its partner, Gloucester City Homes (GCH), achieve the Customer Service Excellence Award.
GCH is the first two-star Arm's Length Management Organisation (ALMO) and only the second ALMO in the country to gain the award.
Lovell began working with Gloucester City Homes on its major housing improvement programme in 2007 and has just been appointed as the sole contractor delivering improvements including new kitchens and bathrooms, new heating systems and external work to homes. Over the next two years, 1,200 homes will be modernised by Lovell as part of a £10 million project.
GCH achieved compliance in all 57 elements of the inspection. The nine areas where standards were judged to be examples of national best practice – achieving compliance-plus – included GCH's arrangements for working with its partners.
