Skanska UK has announced the appointment of Ian Iceton to the newly created role of Director, HR Operations.

Ian, who took up his new position on 11 May, joins Skanska from Volkswagen Group UK where he has spent the last seventeen years of his career, most recently as HR Director.

Reporting to Harvey Francis, Executive Vice President of Skanska UK, Ian's experience will play a leading part in the ongoing development of the HR Function.

Over the last year the HR function at Skanska UK has made some significant changes and improvements to its operating model.
