Galliford Try, the construction and housebuilding group, has announced that it has been awarded two rail contracts totalling £19 million.
Galliford Try will undertake a £13 million regeneration project at Newport station in South Wales for Network Rail, scheduled to be completed by Autumn 2010.
The firm has also been awarded a £6m contract by London Underground to upgrade 12 former Silverlink stations on the London Overground line. The contract is for electrical, telecommunications and civils works.
