E.ON's nomination of a potential nuclear site at Oldbury has been published as part of the Government's Strategic Siting Assessment process.
The site nomination follows a series of drop-in sessions that gave local people in the Oldbury area the opportunity to find out more about the Government process to identify locations that could be strategically suitable for new nuclear power stations.
Colin Scoins, Director of Development at E.ON said: "We have held some very successful public events that have been invaluable in terms of gauging local feeling about our plans for a potential new build project.
"Now that all the nominations have been made public, the Government is giving everyone the opportunity to take part in a one month public comment window for all sites that have been named.
"I would urge anyone with an interest to log on to their website to take a look."
